Malika Taranum Noor Jahan is one of the oldest and first singer of Pakistan. She is soul of singing. She was born on 21 September 1926 in Kasur Punjab, British India. She is singer and actress of old movies since 19th century. Noor Jahan was the studeny of Baba Gulam Muhammad Khan. Her birth name is Allah Wasai.

Noor Jahan Got Tittle Of Malika-e-Tarannum

She got the Title of Malika-e-Tarannum in 1965 by the President of Pakistan. She was the First female Film director of Pakistan. She was in Bombay, India But when Pakistan Come into being in 1947 she decide to leave the india and then Rizvi and Noor Jahan Leave the Bombay and settled in Karachi with their family.

Wasai Sung Songs For Pak Army in 1965

She sung much for the Army of Pakistan in 1965 and she rise the bravery, courage and determination of them by her singing. Her most popular peomy songs are “Aay Watan k Sajeely Jawano, Jaag Ae Mujahid-e-Watan or Aye Puttar Hattan Tey Nai-o-Kudiye” were full famous.

Noor Jahan Died On 23 December In 2000

She sung her last song in 1998 ” Ki dam da  Bharosa Yar” in Film Sakhi Baadshah. Due to the illness she died on 23 December 2000. Now this time our old family members are also missing her and especially missing her voice because her voice was so soulful. Her tomb is in Karachi.
